Bryan Paluch (Willistown Township School Board Director)

From Tenafly, New Jersey, where I grew up and attended public school, I moved to Pennsylvania to study Computer Science at Drexel University &emdash; and I never left. I've had the opportunity to work at a wide range of employers which included Comcast, AstraZeneca, Zonoff, and currently Ring. Through these different positions I've experienced leading development of new platforms, making multi-million dollar technology purchasing decisions and have been part of team management.

During these experiences I've worked in teams small and large to accomplish difficult goals. These lessons in how to work in groups to accomplish goals have been invaluable.

While attending Drexel, I met my wife Veronika, who grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania. After the birth of our first child, we began to look for our forever home and found it in Willistown Township. We fell in love with the tight-knit sense of community, the top-rated school district, and the beautiful open space. Currently I work as a software engineer at a home automation firm in Malvern. Our two children, Everett (3 years old) and Eleanor (5 months old), will be Great Valley School District students in the coming years. As a parent, I want to ensure the district continues to offer high-quality K-12 programs, from the sciences to languages, from math to history, and from arts to sports. If I have the honor of serving as your representative on the Great Valley School Board, I want to be sure that our children have a strong educational foundation to take on the new jobs of the future.

What will I bring to the job of School Director?

  • My extensive knowledge and experience will be a valuable resource for the School Board when it is considering technology curricula.
  • I have years of experience with securing funding, creating budgets, and using resources effectively.
  • As a team player in business I have become adept at listening and working out creative solutions based on input from colleagues and clients.
